{"id":2714,"date":"2021-04-09T06:44:11","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T12:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lalijean.com\/?p=2714"},"modified":"2021-04-09T06:44:14","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T12:44:14","slug":"new","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lalijean.com\/?p=2714","title":{"rendered":"new"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When we&#8217;re told that <em>all<\/em> things are made new, it may not always translate to unfolding how we envisioned it.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-ESV-18525\" class=\"text Isa-43-19\">Today, I&#8217;m thinking specifically of Verses nineteen through twenty-one, in the forty-third Chapter of the Book of Isaiah, in The Bible. Translations vary and I reference so many, but in this moment, it&#8217;s the ESV. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-ESV-18525\" class=\"text Isa-43-19\">&#8220;Behold, I am doing a <em>new<\/em> thing; <\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Isa-43-19\">now it springs forth, do you not perceive (see) it? <\/span><\/span><span class=\"text Isa-43-19\">I will make a way in the wilderness <\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Isa-43-19\">and rivers in the desert. <\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-ESV-18526\" class=\"text Isa-43-20\">The wild beasts will honor me, <\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Isa-43-20\">the jackals and the ostriches, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"text Isa-43-20\">for I give water in the wilderness, <\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span class=\"text Isa-43-20\">rivers in the desert, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"text Isa-43-20\">to give drink to my chosen people, <\/span><span class=\"indent-1\"><span id=\"en-ESV-18527\" class=\"text Isa-43-21\">the people whom I formed for myself <\/span><\/span><span class=\"text Isa-43-21\">that they might declare my praise.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The imagery is so beautiful to me&#8230;it&#8217;s calming. The reassuring piece for me is that I will <em>not<\/em> be stuck in the wilderness. Also, for whatever length of time I&#8217;m in the wilderness, I will be given what I need&#8230;sustenance.<\/p>\n<p>If\/when I&#8217;m in the desert, a place that typically has very <em>little<\/em> water, I will see <em>rivers<\/em>! Nourishment and strength will be provided for my time there.<\/p>\n<p>All the animals around me bring praise and adoration to The Creator of life and all things sacred. I join them in worship and celebration of The Divine.<\/p>\n<p>In the desert&#8230;in the wilderness&#8230;in unfamiliar, deeply painful and rough terrain, I AM fully taken care of&#8230;completely provided for&#8230;always. And so are you, fellow Warrior!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><strong>Common Day Hero:<\/strong><\/em><\/span> Many may never know the level of sacrifice and honor you provide on a daily basis. You are seen, by many including El-Roi. I salute you, fellow Warrior.
